this is the view of our kitchen from the dining room perspective. As you can see the layout of the kitchen itself isn't very practical. the garage door (which can't be seen from this DEPICTION) is to the left of the floor vent.

not only is the counter jetting out a risk for injury, you were unable to open those three drawers just to the left of the dishwasher.

the sink faucet that was chosen was clearly to large for the shallow sink, resulting in water going all over the COUNTER TOPS and surrounding areas.

the main reason, besides AESTHETICALLY, we decided to gut this beautiful kitchen, was due to roach infestation that hadn't been addressed previously.

this is the view of our kitchen from the nook/laundry room perspective. this view gives you a better idea at how poorly this space was utilized. the 'u' shape took up a majority of the walking room, and appliance placement is poor.

aside from the dark paneling, the lighting wasn't properly installed, lacking ground wires and a fire hazard waiting to happen.

this is the view of our kitchen nook leading into the laundry room. like mentioned in the family room before,

the laundry room was closed off with a solid and heavy hinged door, which for our young family wasn't practical or safe.

the ceiling fan wouldn't have been my first choice for light fixture, but it ended up having a short shelf life once project kitchen gut began.
